Aryavarta, the 'Land of the Aryans', was the ancient name of Northern India. It is a land characterised by the great peaks of the Himalayas, the fertile plains of the Punjab and Ganges, and vast rugged deserts.
Travelling across the varied landscapes of Aryavarta, this research documentary investigates the meaning of 'Aryan' in the religions of India, and how it became the keystone of both German and Hindu Nationalism.
